Performance - 100%

Our first competition is just a few weeks away!  Time is flying by so quickly.  So very proud of all of the students for really concentrating on their technique and realizing that it will definitely make a difference in our scores.  Now that the technique pieces are falling into place for them, I would love for all of the students to realize that they must start performing.  It makes a huge difference in the all the dances.  I beg the students to perform and I feel that they really think they are, but it’s just not enough. I have a very small handful of students that truly give 100 percent in their performances 100 percent of the time.   We will concentrate on dancing from our hearts these next few weeks.  I am hoping that everyone will be able to see this change in all the students soon.  That’s the next step for us.  I should never see a Phantom or B52 in their line dance with nothing but the biggest smile on their faces and performing like they are having the time of their lives.  There should never be a dull moment in this dance.    The students who gain this performance level, will be awarded with a special pin to wear on their jackets.  These pins will be earned and rewarded for the goal we are trying to achieve and will not be given to everyone if not deserved.  So very proud of all of these students and their dedication to hard work!  It’s going to be a fun year!
